The original due date for filing of Form DIR – 3 KYC has been expired on 15th September 2018 and after that late fees of Rs. 5000/- is applicable.
However, during the last few days before 15th September, 2018, the MCA site was not working and thereby there are many DIN holders who could not upload the form in time.
After receiving the representation from various stakeholders, the MCA has relaxed the late fee provision.
The details are as under:
- Those who have successfully uploaded Form DIR – 3 KYC up to 15th Sept, 2018 – No Late fees.
- Those who will upload the Form DIR – 3 KYC up to 5th October, 2018 – Rs. 500/- as the late fees and DIN will be reactivated.
- Those who will upload the Form DIR – 3 KYC on or after 6th October, 2018 – Rs. 5000/- as the late fees and DIN will be deactivated.
So, if you have not filed the Form DIR – 3 KYC then kindly file the same on urgent basis.
